A Bite of Diplomacy: Shinho Opens up the Palates of Diplomats

Media Coverage
Diplomats often embody the very image of professionalism. From their suit and tie attire, to strengthening ties between nations, diplomats are able to maintain a calm composure, even while standing in the midst of a storm. What would happen if we were to put diplomats in front of a stove and start cooking? On December 2nd, Shinho held the 9th Diplomats Cooking Competition in the Noble Club’s enchanting, historical garden.
Russian counsellor said, “Every country has their own culinary culture. Throughout this competition, we have the chance to get to know one another while developing our relationship with the rest of the world through food.”
This year’s theme is The Belt and Road Initiative. Diplomats from eighteen countries attended the event to participate in cooking, sharing and sampling international cuisines.
This event is in perfect harmony with Shinho’s own belief of treating the rest of the world like family. Since November of this year, Shinho has adopted a new circular-shaped company logo that represents the globe. The curved interlocking lines in our new logo can be interpreted as the image of a family standing hand in hand; the lines can also be seen as portraying the outline of a flower bud, which has the connotation of nature’s dynamism. By placing the shape in the middle of our logo, we wish to convey the message that high-quality food serve as the building blocks for any strong and healthy family. (Source: China News)
