On September 23, the 2025 Guangzhou Michelin Guide Awarding Ceremony was held successfully at The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou. As the only official partner of the Michelin Guide in China mainland in 2025, Shinho received the exclusive authorization from the Michelin Guide. Shinho’s WEI DA MEI Catering Service presented medals to the restaurants included in the Michelin Guide. In the grand party, the leading figures in the F&B industry witnessed the brand new Guangzhou Michelin Guide (Ver. 8) together.

The WEI DA MEI Catering Service Brand has been fully upgraded: It opens a new chapter from “seasoning” to “empowerment” by focusing on the three core driving forces of “brand force × product power × service power” and the industry’s latest development trend. On the awarding ceremony, Li Xin, the Brand Director of WEI DA MEI Catering Service Division of Shinho Group, delivered a speech and congratulated the 110 restaurants included in the Guangzhou Michelin Guide (Ver. 8). This year marks the 10th year since the Michelin Guide’s exploration in China mainland and also the 9th since its cooperation with Shinho. When delivering a speech on the stage, Luo Qilong, the executive chef from Yong, a restaurant which won Michelin 1-star and green star in succession, said, “Sichuan cuisine is quite popular among consumers because of its ‘diverse flavors’. Yong breaks through consumers’ stereotyped images of Sichuan cuisine by focusing on soup, food materials and condiments.” Luo also said, “We use a lot of WEI DA MEI products in important banquets, such as LIU YUE XIAN premium soy sauce. We also created a Kung Pao lobster using WEI DA MEI products in the Michelin banquet last year and it proves to be very popular.”

Zhoumen, the Guangzhou-based Michelin Bibendum restaurant, is specialized in the traditional bamboo-pressed noodles (Jook-sing noodles). Liang Bingquan, the restaurant boss, said, “The secret about our good business performance lies in the fresh food ingredients that we make every day. Of course, our transformation also cannot be separated from the Michelin Guide.” Tao Gie Mie Zhou, the Guangzhou-based Michelin restaurant, serves each consumer with the authentic local foods. “Authentic” foods can be ensured by not only its local Chaoshan chef team but also its strict control over food ingredients. Zhou Yufa, the founder and boss, shared the Dried Turnip Rice Porridge with Vegetable, Meat or Seafood --- the signature dish. After upgrading by adding more delicious ingredients, the dish becomes more delicious and popular than before.
