It's Worth the Wait! 2020 Beijing Michelin Guide is Coming

After Guangzhou in July and Shanghai in September, the first edition of the Beijing Michelin Guide 2020 will be officially released on November 28, 2019! Shinho, the official partner of the Michelin Guide, will work with the Michelin Guide in Beijing, to bring more delicious food to everyone!

As a well-known ancient capital with thousands of years of history, Beijing is also a modern international city that is the centre of politics, culture and international exchanges. It is, therefore blessed with diverse food culture. We believe this is one of the reasons why the Michelin Guide chose Beijing.

In 2008, the Beijing Olympic Games was successfully held, it sent a message that echoed around the world: Beijing welcomes you! Eleven years had since passed when the Michelin Guide came here, Beijing's cuisine is also eagerly welcoming the arrival of the Michelin Guide, sincerely sending the same message as 11 years ago: Beijing welcomes you!

The Michelin Guide will continue to apply its standard in Beijing. The restaurant will be evaluated based on the ingredients in the plate, cooking skills, fusion of flavours, the creativity displayed in the dishes, and performance consistency. How will Beijing answers to those standards?

In fact, Beijing has always had an abundance of great food. As the world's eighth-largest food city (ranked the first in Mainland cities), Beijing's restaurants have undergone years of integration and development, 'inclusiveness' comes to best define its culinary scene. Whether in nostalgic old alleys, or century-old establishments, or a humble street stall, you can find dishes that send your taste buds bursting, full of Beijing flavours.

You can't accurately define the city's extensive and profound food culture. A Beijing-style "Did you eat it?" greeting seems to indicate that the city's exploration and pursuit of food will never stop, and the great inclusiveness tells every diner who came here to just "eat, that will be all you need."

We are looking forward to the upcoming 2020 Beijing Michelin Guide. We have been working with the Michelin Guide for three years, and we have been to Guangzhou and Shanghai to witness their city Michelin Guide launch ceremony.
