2019 Food Safety Week, Shinho Stands Guard for Your Stomach
Industry EventOn June 18th, the 2019 National Food Safety Promotion Week, jointly organised by the Food Safety Office of the State Council, the Central Civilization Office, and the Ministry of Education, officially launched in Beijing. The slogan for the week is 'Ethical and lawful, safe food makes our life better!'. Main events were organised centred around the recent food safety reform which covered three areas: speed up the process, eliminate non-certified restaurants and help business owners make applications. These events opened up opportunities to have an in-depth discussion on how to promote the food safety governance system and modernise the governance capacity. Shinho is invited to participate in the meetings and has conversations with representatives from all social sectors.
The ancients say: 'food is the primary need of people, and safety is of the utmost importance for food'. Food safety is our society's essential requirement for happiness. In the past few years, food scandals made repeat appearances on the national headline which pushed our annual National Food Safety Promotion Week to gain even greater public interests. During the week, more than seventeen types of events including exhibitions, forums, discussion panels, public lectures and online quizzes will be hosted. Compared to previous years, the 2019 Food Safety Week has a broader focus on food safety on campus, industry quality assurance and intelligent regulation.
As a leader of the Chinese food industry, Shinho will participate in several events during the promotion week, including Food Industry Quality Assurance Improvement Meeting and the Sixth International Food Safety and Innovative Technology Exhibition. As our site was named National Food Education Centre, Shinho will also contribute towards educating students, social workers in education and regulation, as well as the broader public on knowledge of food safety. We will host organising lectures, and talks using our experience mobile camps on the China Association for Science and Technology Day.
Shinho has always believed in treating the rest of the world as a family. Our mission is to 'lead the improvement of the food ecosystem and allow families to rest assured at every meal, live a healthy and happy life'. Our company manager Jiang Junwu, at his interview with one of the main organisers of Food Safety Week, China Economic Net, said 'Food companies are the first ones responsible for ensuring food safety. Everyone at Shinho believes in a simple truth: what we do not eat, we won't sell to customers, let alone produce it. We have moral values we must uphold as a company.'
Since the 1990s, Shinho has introduced advanced quality management principles, such as SSOP based on CGMP, ISO9001, HACCP, ISO22000, ISO14001 and other product certificates to suit the needs from consumers from different demographics, such as BRC, organic product certificate, KOSHER, HALAL, low carbon footprint certificate. We have built a comprehensive product management system to ensure our products are high quality, safety, environmentally friendly and religion accommodating.
Shinho's development and innovation lab has been approved by CNAS as early as 2007. The lab can run tests to detect 506 different types of chemical residues, such as additives, pesticide residues and veterinary drug residues, and antibiotics. Every batch of products has to pass a comprehensive factory test to make sure every drop are safe to consume and meets our strict standards.
'Everything in the world can be summed up into a bowl of food.' Shinho is honoured to be invited to the event and see it as both confirmation and encouragement for us to invest greater efforts in the future. We will endeavour to set an example for the industry by further optimise production safety system and to lead the improvement of the food ecosystem. We are here to guard your stomach and make families live a better life!
