Latest food regulations | Improve safety based on the requirements of the regulations
Corporate NewsRecently, many people have found that Shinho products are packaged differently.
All of the above are based on the national standards formally released in 2025, i.e. GB 7718 National Food Safety Standard - General Standard for the Labeling of Prepackaged Foods and GB 28050 National Food Safety Standard - General Standard for the Nutrition Label of Prepackaged Foods. Shinho is obligatory to comply with the national standards actively.
As we deeply know, the compliance with regulations is only the bottom line instead of our ultimate goal. The national new standard is aimed to make food information more concise, clear and transparent and enable each consumer to be clear about the food they buy and eat. This coincides with Shinho’s simple belief of “Treating the world as family” and our quality standard that “We Don't Sell to Consumers What We Won't Eat Ourselves”.
"Simplicity" is supported based on "meticulous" arrangement
We had considered a lot before the new regulations were promulgated: What can we do to make labels comply with the regulations and facilitate consumers’ purchase of goods? We simplify the label information actively to highlight the key information so that consumers could make decisions quickly after observing the information when facing a variety of products on shelves.
This “simplicity” is greatly supported by our solid technical support. Shinho takes the lead in introducing the brewing technology of high-salt dilute soy sauce in China, accurately controls the environmental parameters in a closed fermentation tank with constant temperature, and ensures full-time fermentation and one-time squeezing; simplifies the ingredients on the label on the basis of ensuring the original flavor of soy sauce through the full-process QMS.
"Clear" mark: Remove all your worries
We also lay emphasis on the “clear ingredients” besides reducing the ingredient variety. After considering that many consumers find it hard to find the salt content of products while making purchase, for LIU YUE XIAN · Less Salt series soy sauces, Shinho directly marks the “salt content” on the front of the bottles so that consumers could clearly see “8” at a glance, which means that every 100ml of soy sauce contains 8g salt.
"Transparent" source tracking: Commitment of high quality in the entire process
The information traceability mechanism is also used in every organic fruit and vegetable from SUNRISE HARVEST. Since July 2015, each fruit and vegetable from SUNRISE has been attached with an exclusive QR code, by scanning which, consumers could view all information in the entire link, including the production base, watering records, picking time, packaging staff, certification information, etc. Instead of passively responding to the new regulations, Shinho would rather publicize its idea that “high-quality foods from good soil” initiatively.
For Shinho, the label updating is not a completed task; instead, it seems like a window, through which, consumers could experience Shinho's persistence in product quality, integrity and further improvement.
We are actively implementing the “One code for one product” label for our products. Upon scanning the QR code on the package of our products via your phone, you’ll receive the overall product information. The code also supports one-click recipe customization. We’ll improve your convenience by the label.
In conclusion, all explorations are aimed to ensure “safe and healthy diet for all households”, which is also consistent firm belief and the simplest interpretation of our idea of “treating the whole world as family”. By this event as an opportunity, Shinho will safeguard the diet health of consumers with stricter standards and more sincere actions.
