Shinho is back to work, but the pandemic has not backed down.
Corporate NewsThe sudden outbreak of COVID-19 has concerned everyone in China. During this battle against COVID-19, here at Shinho, we're resuming production while ensuring the safety of our employees. As of last week, all 10 of Shinho's factories have resumed production. Off the front line, we are still fighting.
"For the past 20 days, as much as we have been doing our best to fight against COVID-19, the pandemic has unavoidably, to some extent, affected our operation. As work resumption was delayed and some areas went into lockdown, factory staff were not able to go to work. The stagnating logistics stopped raw materials and supplementary materials from being delivered to the factories as well as finished products from being sent out from the factories. Without this basic access, our factories were faced with great difficulties. "
"With these challenges in mind, our factories have been preparing for the resumption of work since 3rd February: Shinho factories have been actively communicating with government departments to acquire approval to resume operation and we managed to obtain the approval one week ahead of schedule. To ensure a smooth resumption of operation, factories also started to collect information of each returning employee and monitor their health. Paying close attention to the development of COVID-19, factories also report to the company in a timely manner. Following hygienic requirements, factories carried out targeted disinfection on all personnel, facilities and environment. We are determined to keep everything clean and safe to provide delicious and safe food for families around the country. All departments communicated efficiently to carefully ensure that any materials needed by the factories are available and the resumption of production goes smoothly.
"
At present, production has resumed in all Shinho factories. Everyone in the Shinho family is now back in action, ready for the year of 2020. Regarding the out-of-stock products, the factories will set up new production lines. In the meantime, to meet the market demand, we will try our best to deliver the in-stock and newly produced goods using various logistics services.
To resume operation and production is a big challenge in the midst of COVID-19. But Shinho will remain alerted to ensure pandemic prevention and control. We are committed to resume our operation in an orderly manner and fight against COVID-19 together. Shinho is hopeful that, together, we can win this battle. Together, the future will be better.
