XI GUAN Hawthorn-Infused Vinegar Drink

Since ancient time, the Chinese have been eating hawthorn berries because of their nutritious values and health benefits. Hawthorn berries can improve the digestive system and blood flow; therefore they are seen as able to help people live longer. Hawthorn berry infused vinegar is sweet and sour with a unique aftertaste.

Method

Take out the hawthorn berries that has black spots or holes caused by insects. Wash and dry the good berries.

Remove the berry stalks before placing them in a dry and air-tight jar; place a layer of yellow crystal sugar on top.

Fill to the brim with XI GUAN CU Rice Vinegar.

Store for 10 days before it is ready. Take 20mL daily and dilute with 10 times more warm water to drink.
