One of the most famous noodle salad in the Chinese cuisine is here! Originated from Shandong, this dish can feature as a main course or as an appetiser. It is a celebration of different textures and seasonal vegetables. Many people who have never travelled to the northeast of China have had this dish more than once.

Thick rice noodles

200 g

Cucumber

50 g

Carrots

50 g

Purple cabbage

50 g

Dried bean curd skins

50 g

Stripes of meat

50 g

Chopped garlic

20 g

Condiments

LIU YUE XIAN Premium Soy Sauce

100 g

XI GUAN CU Rice Vinegar

50 g

Sugar

80 g

WEI DA MEI Premium Oyster Sauce

Sesame oil

Method

  • Soak the thick rice noodle in cold water until soft before sieving them out.

  • Cut carrots, cucumber, purple cabbage and dried bean curd into slices and place in a plate.

  • Add the thick rice noodle in the plate as well and top with stir-fried pork strips.

  • Flavour with LIU YUE XIAN Premium Soy Sauce, WEI DA MEI Rice Vinegar, WEI DA MEI Oyster Sauce, salt, sugar and sesame oil; mix well and ready to serve.
