Sweet Lotus Roots Stuffed with Sticky Rice

The lotus root is slow-cooked, soft and silky, together with sticky rice, both are infused with the sweet flavours of Longan honey.

Method

Wash and cut off the end of lotus roots; stuff in sticky rice that has been soaked overnight before closing back using the cut-end of the lotus root.

Place the lotus root in a pot and fill in water until the lotus root is completely immersed in liquid. Add HONA ORGANIC Longan Honey and slow cook for 6 hours before serving.
